The topic this time was general visualization and what has gone wrong in <a href=\"http:\/\/secviz.org\">security visualization<\/a> in the past. I showed how we can learn and steal from other disciplines, in this case, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nyt.com\">New York Times<\/a>. The NYT has done some pretty fantastic work in the area of data visualization. Their <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/packages\/khtml\/2006\/04\/02\/business\/20060402_SECTOR_GRAPHIC.html?adxnnl=1&amp;adxnnlx=1206662129-L\/V879s4niYxDmYR\/23MOg\">interactive market map<\/a>, for example, is a great way of exploring stock data.
