Good Articles

Category: Security Article Reviews — Raffael Marty @ 12:29 pm

I guess I have a tendency to write about negative articles more than about good ones. Lemme try to counterbalance this. A couple of years ago I met a gentleman called John McCumber at a DHS workshop. Very nice guy. We had some good discussions. Shortly after meeting him, I realized that he is a frequent author of articles in security magazines. I keep reading his articles and I have to say, I like them. They are generally very entertaining. He usually talks about something that happend to him in his daily life and translates that to the security world. If you have a chance read one of his articles.

  1. Hi. I totally agree with you that Mr. McCumber’s articles are very interesting.
Thanks to your suggestion, I have read some of his articles of “Security Technology & Design” magazines posted on the publisher’s website and found that they are entertaining and giving us right lessons from a specialist’s standpoint of security.

The other day I translated the 12 steps article of ISSA that you discussed here into Japanese. While I was looking into things about it, I reached your website where I got your recommendation. I have never read articles written in Japanese like his. I think he is a nice guy, too. If I have a chance I would like to translate his articles for Japanese readers. Thank you.
