The Applied Security Visualization book is slowly coming together. I finished implementing all the reviews from my reviewers yesterday. This means I am almost done. The only thing left is the introduction.
By the way, my reviewers were absolutely amazing. I couldn’t have wished for a better team. Thanks guys!
The rought-cuts version of “Applied Security Visualization” is now also available. It’s an electronic version of, I think, 4 of the chapters. You can also pre-order the book on Amazon. This is all really exciting. Finally, after 1.5 years, the book is close to be done. Let’s hope for a launch in August, at BlackHat!
Hi Raffy,
I just stumbled upon your blog and the upcoming book. And let me tell you, I will appreciate it.
Another tool I stumbled upon was Jasplot which you can find here (http://jasp.ism.ac.jp/Jasplot/example.html) and/or here (http://jasp.ism.ac.jp/). It is more for general visualization purposes, but maybe you want to have a look and include it in your book.
Good luck with your book, though… I’ll be one of the guys who will probably buy it.
Regards,
Sebastian

Congratulations on almost finishing the book! I have been looking forward to reading your book since I heard you mention it. I think it was when you were discussing/reviewing the “Security Data Visualization” book. I was considering checking out the rough-cut version of your book. Do you know if the rough-cut version provides an ISO-image for burning to CD?
